Lava 303 Info

is mixing electronic dance-music & rock guitar
with voices of children records, world music, texts of political activists,
interviews I made while travelling in goa and on the balkan,
Lately I like to use my own voice and words.
The music is basically kind of groovy psyrock,
mixing progressive trance with psychedelic guitar sounds.
Most of the tracks are between 128 and 136 BPM.

Lava 303 exists since 1998,
originally it was based on live-jamsessions
with two MC303, MPC 2000, effects and live electro-guitar.
I am calling my music also Garagen-Trance and Acid Rock n Roll.
In a way it s bringing Punk into Trancemusic.

During the last 7 years I also got involved more into music production,
The result are two longplayers.
Acidrocknrollstories (2004) and Wunderbare Electrofrau (2008)
As I am working as musician in kindergardens, I also started to use my own words and to sing in my newer productions. The result you can hear on the new Album Goddess Rules...
"Goddess rules" also is the beginning of a Lava 303 Band Project!
Some of my friends of BERG GROOVT are joining Lava 303
to play bass, acoustic guitar and to do performance..

But still I can do a Lava 303 Party Live-Set, playing best of Lava 303 (re)mixed for the dancefloor...

is a sideproject with the drummer-legend Mani Neumeier of Guru Guru
( a band part of Krautrock and Hippie Scene in Germany)
with the idea to create a crossover between psychedelic trance and rock music
and connect three generations of psychedelic music fans.

Well, I am not big on guitars at all in psytrance,
but the track Tempelfest (I haven't heard the extended version yet, only the 5mins version)
is an absolute killer, glad to see this is finally getting released in an unmixed version :-)
VERY VERY powerful track, haven#t heard the b-side yet,
but for Tempelfest alone this is worth getting
very good ep, played it once, many wanted to know what it was!!!!!!!!!
